Do you want to run SeeYou Mobile?
Monday, 07 April 2008

SeeYou Mobile advanced to version 2.72. The most significant feature is support for Zander GP940 and GP941 much to the joy of many contest pilots.

Image More importantly - we are offering a new download for SeeYou Mobile. A simple ZIP file which you can extract to a flash card, insert a flash card into your PDA and - voila - start using SeeYou Mobile immediately. No installation, no active sync, no cables.

Image You may download the ZIP file from our download pages, where you can find all other SeeYou Mobile installations. To "install" SeeYou - follow this procedure:
. Download SeeYou Mobile ZIP for Storage Card
. Insert Storage Card to your Card reader
. Unzip the contents of the downloaded ZIP file to the root of your Storage Card
. Make sure you keep the directory structure
. Insert the Storage Card to your PDA

You should now see the dialog asking you whether or not you wish to run SeeYou Mobile.

Has the battery on your PDA depleated? You lost all your programs?
NO PROBLEM!

Take the card out of the slot, insert it right back in and you will be asked the reassuring question: "Do you want to run SeeYou mobile?" "YES!"

Do you want to run ConnectMe?

It's included in the ZIP! It doesn't autorun, but more importantly - it's there and you don't have to install it. Run File Explorer on the Pocket PC, navigate to Storage Card/2577 and run ConnectMe.exe. How comfortable is that for a hard resetted PDA?

Do you want to run SeeYou Mobile on MIPS or SH3 processors?

Up until now we have provided separate and bundled installation files for ARM, MIPS and SH3 processors. According to the download statistics though we are dropping the automatic inclusion of installation files for these processors in favor of smaller downloads and easier installations. If you need to install SeeYou Mobile on any of these processors please contact us and we will give you the right links to do so.

Airspace 2010 revision 2
This time the following updated airspaces were added:
. Austria
. Hungary
. Belgium and Luxembourg

All airspaces were changed significantly, therefore please upgrade your database as soon as possible if you use the airspace of these countries.

Particular caution is required for flying in Belgium and Luxembourg. The airspace there is extremely complex and therefore three files are included:
1. bellux-weekdays-with-transponder.cub - use this file during the weekdays if you have a transponder on board - with transponder you have access to airspace above 4500ft MSL
2. bellux-weekdays-below4500ft.cub - use this file if you don't have transponder. Flying above 4500ft is restricted
3. bellux-weekends.cub - use this file on weekends when military activity is significantly reduced
A thorough ReadMe about using airspace in Belgium and Luxembourt is available here:
